"The resort has been an icon on the sands of Daytona Shores for years," says Marc Pujalet, president and chief marketing officer for Noble House Hotels & Resorts, a 24-year-old, privately held hotel management and development company. "We have decided to take the best property in the greater Daytona Beach area and transform it to become commensurate with other properties in the Noble House collection."

Pujalet adds, "With the addition of our signature SpaTerre, and our renowned Miami-based Baleen Restaurant concept, we are confident that not only will the Shores Resort & Spa remain the market leader, but it will become an important component to the overall emergence of Daytona Beach Shores as an upscale US resort destination."

Daytona Beach Shores is a 5.5-mile long, 300-yards wide residential and commercial barrier island on the Atlantic Ocean located within the Daytona Beach metropolitan area. The hotel sits on 3.5 acres at 2637 South Atlantic Ave. Since acquiring the resort in 1996, Noble has invested over $10 million in renovation and other upgrades to the property, Pujalet says. The hotel will remain open during the renovations period.
