Chang's family, through a company called Chang Enterprises that includes his brother Michael, the former tennis star, bought SullivanHayes in October. The price wasn't publicly disclosed.

Over the past 26 years, Sullivan led by Jim Sullivan, leased more than 100 million sf of retail space in the metropolitan area. It helped bring a number of big-box tenants to the area, including Costco, Super Target, Bass Pro Shops and many more.

Castle spent almost 19 years with SullivanHayes. He was president of the company from 1998 until last April, where he started his own firm. Earlier, Chang Enterprises also bought the 100-year–old Dunton, which has been focusing more on property management. Both Castle and Chang say they will branch more into industrial and office deals, as they go forward. Chang, the chief executive officer of Chang Enterprises and the former coach for his brother, says he and Castle share the same vision.

Castle says it is like returning to his family by rejoiningSullivanHayes. He notes that it has an "incredible brand that will continue to expand. The prospects are limitless." Both SullivanHayes and Dunton will keep their individual names. Dunton will be expanding its property management operations, according to Castle.
