Three office buildings acquired in Hunt Valley, MD make Liberty the largest owner of class A office space in the Hunt Valley submarket. They are at 307, 309, and 311 International Circle and aggregate 257,000 sf. They are currently just 10% leased, and Liberty plans extensive renovation of the three assets, followed by aggressive lease-up.
A 211,000-sf, multi-tenant industrial building at 2453 Prospect St. in Aurora, IL is 32% leased to Houston Wire and Cable Co. A 203,000-sf distribution facility at 7315 Kingspointe Parkway in Orlando is 41% leased to Menlo Logistics.
The additional properties, in Orlando and Carlisle, are sale-leasebacks, 100% leased by, and acquired from Whirlpool Corp. The Orlando property is a 229,000-sf distribution facility at 2351 Investor Row. The Carlisle property is a 415,000-sf distribution facility at 1485 Commerce Ave.
All seven properties are consistent with Liberty's strategy of owning and acquiring a mix of office and industrial properties and increasing value through marketing, management and development.
