The property was built in 1967. The selling price is slightly above the $55,000-a-unit median price for multifamily sales in the Philadelphia MSA, projected in a 2005 forecast by the Philadelphia office of Marcus & Millichap. Ridge MacLaren, Scott Messmore and Spencer Yablon of that M&M office listed the complex and negotiated the sale. The seller is identified as Hunters Run Apartment Realty Trust and the buyer as Hunters Run Exchange LP.

In a separate, unrelated transaction, Brad Nathanson of M&M's Philadelphia office represented Nicholas Costalas, a private investor, in the sale of a 7-Eleven store at 1057 West High St. in Stowe, near Pottstown. Mark Dusza, of the same M&M office, represented the buyer, Dunn Properties Inc. The sale price was undisclosed. Significant residential construction, including an apartment complex adjacent to the 7-Eleven, is taking place in the Stowe area of Montgomery County, according to Dusza.
