Lee will focus on developing hospital relationships and healthcare projects throughout Georgia, North and South Carolina and North Florida, Chuck Vogt, senior vice president and chief strategy officer for Bremmer, says in a prepared statement. "Our expansion into the Southeast will further our growth."

Lee is a graduate of Georgia State University and Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College. He joins the Bremmer-Duke joint venture from the law offices of Tifton-based Reinhardt, Whitley, Wilmot, Summerlin & Pittman.

The Bremmer-Duke joint venture is designed "to utilize a flexible construction approach for hospital system projects," Vogt says. "Certain hospital systems will have a strong relationship with a general contractor, while others will suggest we issue a Request for Proposals to select the right general contractor. Our joint venture arrangement with Duke creates the ultimate flexible model for hospital systems."

Vogt says Bremmer Healthcare has developed about $1 billion in healthcare facilities over the past 20 years and currently manages three million sf of healthcare facilities.
