HOLLYWOOD, FL-Miami-based mFm Construction is planning to break ground by the end of the summer on the first phase of Lincoln Park, a $20-million, 36-unit townhouse development between 22nd and 23rd avenues on Lincoln Street. The project will be developed on three parcels of land directly across from Lincoln Park and a soon-to-be-developed elementary school.
The second phase will comprise 21 units. The project will contain units with four bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms with more than 1,800 sf. Preconstruction prices are from the low $400,000s. Sales and marketing of the project will begin next week with the project slated to be completed in late 2008.
Architects on the project are locally based Kaller Architects. Sales and marketing of the project will be handled by Terrabella Realty. mFm Construction principal Eli Dreszer tells GlobeSt.com that the development is in an area west of Downtown Hollywood. "It's in an area that the city is revitalizing," Dreszer says. "It's going through a boom with a lot of residential and commercial development."
The development is one mile from the beach and less than a mile from Interstate 95. It is also in close proximity to major employment centers, such as the Aventura Shopping Mall and Aventura Hospital.
Like other developments mFm Construction has completed, Lincoln Park is designed to be affordable to middle-income residents. This project differs from others the company has done, however, in that it will feature townhouses rather than condominiums. "This project will give buyers the opportunity to purchase a townhouse which has more space than a condominium," Dreszer says.
