The current plans call for remodeling a 48,000-square-foot existing building, adding a 14,820-square-foot Walgreens, constructing an additional 12,000 square feet of retail space as well as a 7,600-square-foot restaurant facility. All of that will be completed in the first phase of development, slated to start as soon as final approval is granted. Construction of this section is slated to complete next year.

Paster does not have commitments yet from retailers to fill the space, but the project is garnering attention. "We have received a lot of interest from prospective tenants and are actively looking for several types of retailers including restaurants, coffee shops, salons, spa services, nail salons, and clothing and gift boutiques as potential tenants," Paster tells GlobeSt.com.

After phase one, there are plans in place to create additional senior housing, office space and a childcare facility. Paster tells GlobeSt.com that the entire $40 million project should be complete in the next five years.

Paster Enterprises owns and manages more than 1 million square feet of space, active mostly in the Twin Cities area.
