HOUSTON-The 335,000 square-foot, 12-story Galleria area office tower at 2000 St. James Place, which fell into foreclosure in the beginning of 2010, will be acquired by Core Real Estate through a foreclosure auction and will get a new tenant. Core Real Estate is now under contract to acquire the property.
The tenant is Weatherford International Ltd., a Swiss-based oilfield service firm, will merge all of its Houston-based offices into the tower in 2012. CB Richard Ellis represented the company in the transaction. For the full story, go to Houston Chronicle.
