PHILADELPHIA-Chicago-based John Buck Co. is set to break ground on a residential and retail project at 2116 Chestnut Street. The company bought a union-owned property last week in the Center City district.

The $104-million, 34-story project will come up on the Sidney Hillman Medical Center site. The apartment building will include over 9,000 square feet of retail space and 130 covered parking spaces.
