MIAMI-The Consulate General of Mexico is moving from South Miami to the Brickell Avenue financial district in Miami. The consulate has leased 23,000 square feet at 1399 S.W. First Ave. from Chestnut Capital.

The consulate office will take three floors at the property in early 2012. In the deal, the Consulate General of Mexico was represented by Taylor & Mathis' Andrew Trench, who was previously with Holly Sime Realty, while Chestnut Capital was represented by Blanca Commercial Real Estate's David Valdez and Danet Linares.
