SAN FRANCISCO-A private biotech company has signed a long-term lease for 220,000 square feet at BioMed Realty’s multi-tenant Pacific Research Center campus here in San Francisco’s East Bay.
According to Alan Gold, chairman and CEO of BioMed, the company will join nine other companies at the campus, “which continues to attract thriving life science and technology companies with its extensive amenities and convenient location immediately off of Highway 84 and the Dumbarton Bridge.”
BioMed did not answer GlobeSt.com queries for further lease terms or for the identity of the private biotech company by deadline. According to the firm’s website, Pacific Research Center’s “competitive leasing rates make the campus a compelling economic consideration for any tenant in the Bay Area.”
The campus is made up of five buildings, each individually metered, allowing for tenant improvements to begin immediately following lease execution. The campus also has a full-service workout facility, cafeteria, conference center, purple tie laundry service, a volleyball and basketball court, and a game room.
