BIRMINGHAM, AL-A group of investors, led by New York-based The Embassy Group LLC, has acquired four apartment complexes in metro Birmingham for a combined $40.6 million. The Cole Cos. was the seller. The 770-unit portfolio acquisition was financed by Birmingham-based Beech Street Capital.
The Embassy Group bought Woodbrook in Gardendale for $15.6 million; Meadow Wood in Pelham for $5.2 million; and Forest Ridge and Ascot Place in Birmingham for $10.7 million and $9.1 million, respectively.
