MIDLAND, TX-Swinerton Builders, San Francisco has been named general contractor of the $100 million Chevron campus in Midland, Texas. Swinerton's soon-to-be-opened Austin office will manage the project, according to a report in the Austin Business Journal.

Construction is expected to begin this summer and be completed in 2015.

The four-building, 340,000 square-foot campus is scheduled will be designed to achieve LEED gold certification.

The website reports that the complex “will support Chevron's goal of providing a world-class facility for its West Texas Permian Basin operations,” citing a Chevron news release.
