SAN ANTONIO TX-CBRE represented South Texas Money Management, Ltd. (STMM) in leasing 14,500 square feet of unique, ground floor space at One Riverwalk Place (700 North Saint Mary's Street) downtown.
The firm is moving its headquarters from Olmos Park.
“Going back to downtown San Antonio is very exciting for our firm,” said CEO Jeanie Wyatt, CFA. “San Antonio is becoming one of the most dynamic cities in the U.S. and we look forward to being surrounded by some of our most beautiful landmarks, including The Riverwalk, the Southwest School of Art, the new Tobin Center, and the San Antonio Public Library. It's like a fantasy quite frankly.”
STMM will work with CBRE's Project Management Group to remodel the space for creative office use before moving from its current location at 100 West Olmos Drive in San Antonio's Midtown neighborhood. Ross Anders will handle project management. Insite Architects will collaborate with Lake Flato on the design.
“Fifty percent of our employees are under the age of forty, so the Geekdom project, Southtown, the new street car project, the exciting plans for Hemisfair and The Pearl will all be draws,” added Wyatt.
The new office will serve as the firm's headquarters and will also house its multifamily office subsidiary.
Taylor Dorris, a vice president with CBRE San Antonio, represented STMM.
