NEW YORK CITY-Federated Investors Inc. will be shifting its operations from 450 Lexington Ave. to 101 Park Ave. next year.
The firm, headquartered in Pittsburgh, will relocate to a 26,400-square-foot suite at the 49-story building's 41st floor in December 2014, according to the Commercial Observer.
“We were able to move quickly to identify an ideal, full-floor location in an iconic building that will afford Federated greater office space efficiency for its New York City operations,” states Greg Kraut, a principal at Avison Young, which represented Federator Investors in the transaction.
Kraut and Brad Totten, a principal in Avison Young's Pittsburgh office, represented Federated Investors in the transaction. John Cefaly and Clark Finney of Cushman & Wakefield handled negotiations for building owner H.J. Kalikow & Co. LLC. See story in the Commercial Observer.
