ATLANTIC CITY-The ownership of the Atlantic Club Casino Hotel says it will accept bids on Dec. 16 and will look to close on the sale of the property in early 2014.
Attorney Michael D. Sirota, who represents the hotel, said offers would be accepted on Dec. 17 with a hearing to possibly ratify the sales agreement coming the following day before a federal judge. He adds that a closing on the sale of the property could take place by late February or early March of 2014.
"We are hopeful competitive bidders will want to participate," Sirota said at the federal bankruptcy court hearing on Monday. See story in the Press of Atlantic City.
