PHILADELPHIA-The city's Planning Commission approved on Tuesday a plan to build approximately 1,350 rental apartment units in four tower buildings at Callowhill Street and Columbus Boulevard here.
Waterfront Renaissance Associates, an affiliate of Carl Marks Real Estate, will build the Renaissance Plaza project in four phases. The firm hopes to begin construction on the first, 292-foot tower in about a year, according to The Inquirer.
In addition to the apartments, the project will feature two gyms, restaurants and approximately 70,000 square feet of retail space. Renaissance Plaza will also contain about an acre of public green space. See story in The Inquirer.
