LAUREL, MD-The Goldstar Group of Bethesda, MD has acquired the Ashbury Court Apartments complex here for $23.6 million from Patriot Realty.
The 140-unit Ashbury Court Apartments complex features 32,000 square feet of first floor retail space. The sale also includes an option to build a second phase of residential space, according to the Baltimore Business Journal.
Goldstar Group said it was attracted to the property in part due to the “repositioning opportunities” in Laurel, which is close to both Baltimore and Washington, DC.
MAC Realty Advisors LLC Executive Director Andrew McAllister said the development's proximity to the Laurel MARC station also made the property attractive. MAC Realty represented the seller in the transaction. See story in the Baltimore Business Journal.
