SUNNYVALE, CA—Developer Jay Paul Company in connection with obtaining a $610 million senior secured non-revolving loan to finance the construction of the first phase of a new Google office campus. Los Angeles based Manatt, Phelps & Phillips, LLP, represented Jay Paul in acquiring the funding.
Located at the intersection of Moffett Park Drive and Bordeaux Drive in Sunnyvale, the first phase of the project includes construction of 943,056 net rentable square feet of office space (out of a total of 1.9 million square feet) in three eight-story buildings, as well as two parking structures containing approximately 4,300 spaces, and a 52,500-square-foot amenities building. Proceeds of the loan will also be used to finance construction of a fire station for the City of Sunnyvale. Two more buildings will be constructed next year.
