Conspec manufactures construction chemicals. Annual sales for the company are more than $20 million and it employs about 70 people locally. Sales for Dayton Superior were estimated at $322 million last year.
Conspec, located at 636 S. 66th Terrace, was founded in 1972. Greg Maday, former Conspec president and CEO, will remain on as vice president. Terms of the sale were not disclosed.
