"We've raised nearly $10 billion in private equity for a number of fund sponsors over the past five years," says Chad Schultz, who heads the new group with Robert Rivett. Schultz tells GlobeSt.com that the group will seek capital from public and private pension funds, foundations, endowments, insurance companies and other institutional and accredited investors worldwide. Potential transactions include private equity funds, entity-level transactions and asset-specified JVs. Sponsors include private investment firms, operating companies and REITs.
The team has offices in New York, Chicago, San Francisco and London and encompasses 14 professionals.
