DENVER, NC-Lincoln County commissioners are allowing 240 more lots to be developed in Watergate Crossing, a 276-acre venture 20 miles from Charlotte. The rezoning brings the number of single-family homes to 424.
The project, about two miles from Lake Norman, has 19 acres of commercial-zoned space and a planned 121,000-sf retail center. Griffin Brothers Acquisitions is developing a 36,000-sf supermarket in the center.
