The licenses will immediately be deployed after being rebranded to Road Runner Connect for Time Warner Cable's use. The company has been using the Austin-based software developer's products since July 1999 for affiliates in Austin, Houston and Los Angeles.

The software cuts installation time in a subscriber's home. Time Warner Cable holds the distinction of being one of BroadJump's first customers, says Kip McClanahan, BroadJump president and CEO. The two-year-old BroadJump develops software for residential broadband services.
