Bank Opens Detroit Branch

DETROIT-Old Kent Bank opens its first Downtown service center.

The company, headquartered in Grand Rapids, MI., opened the first 9,000s.f. bank to give residents and employees a full-service connectionin the city, said President Rebecca Smith.

She declined to say the cost of construction of the facility.Old Kent operates nearly 300 full service offices in Michigan, Illinois andIndiana.
