David Newcomb will assume the presidency of the division, which will be directly involved in negotiating mergers and acquisitions, conducting due diligence and searching for new business opportunities. Newcomb is known in high-tech circles for his work with DVD and SkyMall Inc., a publisher and distributor of digital media. He had served as vice president and a member of the board of directors. Newcomb has led the development of the subsidiary, raising more than $15 million in startup funding.
He also is the creator of one of the first five DVD production facilities in North America and had also served as director of new media for NB Digital Solutions, which publishes and distributes digital media.
