WP is looking for a tenant to lease the structure, along with 12 of the available 16 acres. The other four acres are planned for R&D/office space, or retail use along Whipple Avenue and Interstate 880.
Colliers International in Oakland, CA brokered the $9 million sale. According to Greig Lagomarsino, Senior VP at Colliers, space is at a premium in the area, with vacancy rates hovering around three percent.
