Construction began this week on the $45-million facility, which will include shops, restaurants and a lounge. It is being developed by SJ Amoroso of Foster City, CA.
The building will eventually house other operations, including the USDA agriculture inspection operation. All customs and inspection activity at the airport will eventually shift to the planned Terminal B, which has yet to break ground.
