Curt R. Ewald will assume the role of senior vice president of operations resources, James Walters as senior VP of sales and Robert S. Davis as senior VP of vacation ownership."These three key appointments substantially strengthen and complete our management team," says Fred J. Kleisner, Wyndham's president and CEO.
The newly created position being filled by Ewald is a step to better align product lines and corporate support. Ewald previously was a senior VP for Asia-Pacific for Starwood Hotels & Resorts.
Walters will be overseeing all national sales offices in Chicago, Dallas, Los Angeles, Miami, New York and Washington, DC. He previously had worked as VP of sales and marketing for Adam's Mark Hotels & Resorts, Hilton Hotels Corp. and as director of sales for the Waldorf Astoria in New York City and the Hilton Chicago & Towers.
Davis will be working with Tempus Resorts International Ltd. to develop the Wyndham Vacation Club, a new ownership initiative. He most recently was a senior VP of the Promus Hotel Corp. for its vacation resorts division.
