BROOKLYN PARK, MN- The leather goods chain will add El Portals 38 units to its chain.
El Portal has 38 stores in three westernstates, while Wilsons has about 564 stores. BrooklynPark, MN-based Wilsons paid $15.4 million for ElPortal, and assumed $13.8 million in debt.
The dealwill add about $75 million to Wilsons Leather's salesnext year.
