More than 650 members of Fairfield County's real estate community are expected to attend this benefit and networking event. W&M Properties' Fairfield and Westchester portfolio, which is a Malkin family company, encompasses 1.5 million square feet of office space. In its fifth year, the March of Dimes Fairfield County Real Estate Award Breakfast honors outstanding individuals whose contributions to commercial real estate have significantly enhanced the local community. It also serves as a community campaign by the March of Dimes to expand awareness of the organization's mission to prevent low birth weight babies, birth defects and infant mortality.

"The Malkins were selected for this honor because of their strong commitment to the Fairfield county community," says event chairman Ed Tonnessen of Albert B. Ashforth, Inc. "Their leadership and interest in children's issues endorses the March of Dimes' 62-year history of working toward a day when no innocent baby must face the tragedy of disability or death," he adds.
