The buyer closed the deal with a purchase money mortgage for $2.37 million. Shapiro is from Bay Harbor Islands, FL, a Miami suburb.
The plant is at 15959 NW 15th Ave., a mile from the intersection of the Palmetto Expressway, Interstate 95 and the Florida Turnpike.
