ATLANTA-Veteran developer Jim Cowart is partnering with longtime associate George C. Berkow in Cowart Berkow, a commercial-focused company. Another entity, Jim Cowart Residential will develop single-family suburban subdivisions under the management of John Schiavone, another Cowart colleague of long standing.
Cowart Berkow will handle commercial projects. Jim Cowart Residential will develop single-family suburban subdivisions. Schiavone will manage the residential side; Berkow, the commercial end. The original company, Jim Cowart Inc. will manage the firm's current assets.
