Four of them will be Sears Hardware units, specifically, the ones in Shrewsbury, Saddle Brook, Springfield and Cherry Hill. A fifth is one of the National Tire & Battery stores, located in Toms River, Ocean County.
Nationally, only four of the company's 860 full-line department stores are on the shutdown list. In New Jersey, the one casualty is the store in Voorhees, in the southern part of the state. Total job losses for the New Jersey stores was not available.
