Wente Brothers is now proposing a plan that would allow them to rebuild the winery and use the building for storage space and tasting room, eventually a complete operating winery. At its meeting this week, the city council will determine the definition of "restoration" and decide whether to reduce the bond amount. It has been suggested that the city council approve the change, but also add a wine tasting room to the storage area.
