And business wise, when you look at all the things that are going on here, it's great."The Austin office handles a management and leasing portfolio of approximately 1.2 million sf of office and retail space in the greater Austin area. In addition to overseeing the day-to-day office operations, Freid will direct The Weitzman Group brokerage team, as well as Cencor's development and management staff. He also will oversee new business generation.
Prior to his promotion, Freid had directed development services for a number of projects at Cencor's Dallas office. He also had overseen The Weitzman Group's research department as well as managing broker-intern training programs. He has more than a decade of commercial real estate experience. Jared Caplan will assume part of Freid's Dallas responsibilities.
