DETROIT-Seventy-six community airports in the state will split $22 million. Most of the airports will get for $150,000 to extend and repair runways, acquire land for noise abatement and meet environmental concerns.
Most of the sites will receive a grant of $150,000, with some airports receiving more for priority projects. The list of airports includes Ann Arbor Municipal Airport, Willow RunAirport in Detroit, Oakland County International in Pontiac and the Troy-Oakland Airport.
