The new office is at 9770 Old Bay Meadows Road and will be co-managed by Nancy and Jerry Cofield who have been with CII since 1997. The firm's other Florida offices are in Downtown Orlando, Cocoa Beach, Clearwater and Delray Beach.

"The opening of a regional office that services the burgeoning northeast Florida market has been an essential part of our original blueprint for expansion," CII chairman Richard H. Read tells GlobeSt.com. "We now have a presence in one of the state's largest metro markets and expect this office to be a significant part of our brokerage operations this year."

The brokerage sells a range of privately-held businesses from neighborhood pizza parlors to existing commercial real estate assets. CII has sold 600 companies valued at a half billion dollars since its 1986 inception. In the last four years alone, the firm posted 200 sales valued at $100 million, according to the Florida Business Brokers Association, the industry's trade group.

The association ranks Corporate Investment International the No. 1 brokerage in Florida, based on last year's $28.9 million in sales.
