A law school graduate, Black now takes on the additional responsibilities for local program coordination and training of new associates, in addition to tenant representation in the industrial and office markets in north Broward and Palm Beach counties. Boca Raton is 42 miles north of Downtown Miami.

The company cited Black's participation in its Corporate Advisory Services business group as another reason for the promotion. "Duncan's completion of the Sensormatic deal at Gateway Commerce Center at Quantum along with his diligent efforts and leadership in the area of tenant representation have made him invaluable to our South Florida team and to our clients," Richard Egitto, a Trammell Crow principal, says in a prepared statement.

Prior to his employment in 1999, Black worked for six years as vice president of industrial leasing and sales at Metropolitan Asset Management Inc. in Alexandria, VA. A graduate of Radford University in Virginia, he earned a law degree from George Mason University School of Law in Arlington, VA.
