Danville's Town Council has said it may consider a multi-tiered fee scale, in which a single-family developer would pay lower deposit than a multi-unit developer, but has not elaborated on that idea. The proposed ordinance toughens Danville's existing effort to protect its frees, which currently mandates a maximum developer deposit of $5,000 per single-family lot and $25,000 for each non-residential development.
