ATLANTA-The North Carolina-based bank company is housing 1,200 employees in the five-story, 177,500-sf building built near an existing operations building in Hapeville, GA, eight miles south of Downtown.
About 750 workers moved to the new facility from a former operations center near the Lindbergh MARTA station between Buckhead and Midtown, seven miles from center city. The center processes transactions from Wachovia's Georgia and North Florida branches.
