But the cash stream won't be the same, lawyers familiar with the Veigles' 10-year clashes with the law, tell GlobeSt.com. In prior conversations with area prosecutors, Jim Veigle confirms the monthly net at each of his clubs is about $400,000, or $1.2 million for all three locations. He values his real estate holdings at $3 million; his clubs at $7 million; and his sports car sales business at roughly $800,000.

Records seized by law enforcement officers last July indicated Jim Veigle's net worth then was $10.8 million. The Veigles themselves are not accused of anything. One of their clubs, Rachel's, is accused of fostering prostitution and drug dealing.

The suburban city of Casselberry,FL, where Rachel's is located, yanked the club's occupational license. Now the Veigles are suing the city, alleging their First Amendment Florida Constitutional rights have been violated. They want their license back.Seminole Circuit Court Judge Nancy Alley is studying the Veigles' arguments.

The other clubs are on South Orange Blossom Trail in south Orlando and in West Palm Beach. Those clubs are still operating and are not accused of local or state violations. Rachel's has been an entertainment landmark of sorts in metro Orlando for 20 years.

Although alleged illegal operations there have triggered undercover police investigations in 1991, 1996 and 1998, the required documentation needed for a conviction always seemed to be less than complete. The July 2000 raid, however, has video camera proof by law enforcement agencies, of alleged immorality and criminal conduct, the state attorney's office says.

The Veigles couldn't be reached for comment in this article but associates close to them tell GlobeSt.com "the brothers can't understand why they are being persecuted for the alleged actions of other persons."

The Veigles, both in their fifties, have been business partners for 40 years, since opening their first pizza parlor at the age of 18 in the Edgewater district of Orlando.
