Joan Kroc donated $80 million to build the 175,000-sf center at 6845 University Ave. It will include educational facilities, a performing arts theater, gym, ice rink, aquatic center, recreation field and family center.
Roel Construction is the general contractor on the project, a key step in the revitalization of the east end of University Avenue. Austin Veum Robbins Parshalle is the architect on the project.
