The first phase of the Gresham Civic Neighborhood was Gresham Station, a 14-building development completed by Torrance, CA-based Center Oak last November. It contains 317,000 square feet of retail and commercial space, and is occupied by the likes of QFC, Borders Books, Old Navy and Ann Taylor Loft, among others.

Phase two will be approximately 30-acre project that contains a mix of uses, including more retail as well as office space and housing. To develop the land, Center Oak is partnering with Lone Oak Realty and Peak Development, which have had a hand in other Gresham developments as of late. Neither Bruning nor Mike Rossman, a partner in both Lone Oak and Peak Development, were immediately available for comment Wednesday afternoon.

Gresham's business assistance program manager Shelly Parini says Center Oak's chief Fred Bruning will announce tomorrow a major anchor retail tenant for the project. Parini also says the company is expected to announce that it is relocating its headquarters from California to its new development in Gresham.
