After thorough analysis, each committee will make recommendations that will assist in developing MAC's statewide platforms. Commissioner and board vice chair Fran Amos, was appointed to the economic development and labor committee.
As a member of this policymaking body, she will participate in the analysis of state related issues pertaining to the following: Land use, manufactured housing and the Workforce Investment Act.
Commissioner Michelle Friedman Appel was appointed as a voting member to the judiciary and public safety committee. Commissioner Eric Coleman was appointed as a voting member to the environmental and regulatory affairs committee. As a member of this committee, he will assist in the analysis of state issues relating to the following: solid waste management, water resources, air pollution, and environmental education.
