Griswold Place, originally known as The Dime Saving Bank Building, was one of the last dominant buildings designed by world famous architect Daniel Burnham. The Griswold Properties LLC purchased the building in 1999 to restore the building to its original class A environment, along with adding all of the technology options necessary to seamlessly conduct business today.
The $35-million renovation project is slated for completion by December 2001.
A new lobby, elevators, state of the art mechanical, electrical, heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems have all been designed and installed. Additionally, the building will support a multitude of technologies, including Internet connectivity, e-mail, web hosting, video conferencing and voice mail.
