Cendant, of course, is the world's biggest franchiser of hotels, rental car agencies (including Avis, which it recently acquired), tax preparation services and real estate brokerage offices, including Coldwell Banker Commercial. The company will use One Campus Dr. as its new headquarters, and will move Avis Car Rental's headquarters from Garden City, NY to New Jersey (see earlier story).
Besides its New Jersey home base, Gale & Wentworth maintains offices in New York, Boston, California and the UK. Its client list includes AT&T, British Airways, Global Crossing, Pharmacia, UPS, Siemens and Sumitomo, and it maintains joint venture relationships with Morgan Stanley, JPMorgan and PaineWebber.
