Texas, however, has caught the lead spot in the showroom rollout. The Dallas center is located at 14315 Inwood Road. In August, CopiersNow had launched its Texas focus by opening a showroom at 1250 Capital of Texas Hwy. south in Austin. In 60 to 90 days, a showroom will open in Houston followed by a fourth in San Antonio. Showrooms range in size from 1,600 sf to 2,500 sf and contain about $150,000 sf of CopiersNow product line.
Texas' high-tech economy is the driving force for the nationwide rollout to start here, Paul Archer, CopiersNow CEO, tells GlobeSt.com. "It's a very wired state," he says.CopiersNow contracts with local brokers from Caldwell Banker Commercial to find its locations, according to Archer. "We need to be in markets where a high percentage of business are not only on line, but use it as a way of doing business," Archer explains.
Texas and California will have four locations each, the most showrooms in CopiersNow rollout strategy, which will take three years to complete. "Texas will be our template for success," says Archer. "Doing it right and doing it effectively are more important than how fast we can get it done." Each showroom is staffed with a product specialist and tech team.
CopiersNow is headquartered at 6940 S. Holly Circle in Englewood, CO. Its flagship showroom is at 1777 S. Harrison St. in Denver. Started in August 1999, CopiersNow has raised nearly $61 million in venture capital that includes backing from The Sturm Group in Denver and The Hillman Co. of Pittsburgh.
