Peter Lea, PhD, president & CSO said, "While maintaining the integrity and research momentum of our existing Technology Centre (also located in Toronto) in developing DIA/PRO platform technologies, the purpose of umedik's new Product Centre is to set up production lines for manufacturing batch quantities of prototype tests sufficient in quantity, to compete investigative testing and validation of our products."
Company officials describe umedik's DIA/PRO system as one that brings point of care technology to diagnosis, prognosis and monitoring of a variety of disease states. It does so also for food and environmental safety.
