The state is looking at consolidating more of its departments, many of which are scattered in leased space around downtown St. Paul, on the Capitol campus.
Smith also serves as an executive committee member and treasurer of the State Arts Advocacy League of America and as a member of the Minnesota Council of Nonprofits Public Policy Cabinet.
