The seller, 1220 Corporate Partners LLC, has been represented by Dave Swearingen of Swearingen Commercial Real estate. The Henry S. Miller team of James E. Moran, David R. Dunn and Larry G. Rodgers have acted on the buyer's behalf.
The buyer, Rodgers tells GlobeSt.com, will be the occupant of the 48,108-sf building, situated at 1220 E. Corporate Dr. The one-story, tilt-wall structure is about 15 years old and is situated on about 1.5 acres.
In another metroplex deal, Access Pharmaceuticals is expanding its regional operation in a lease renewal in Dallas' medical corridor. John Lancaster, vice president of The Industrial Group, tells GlobeSt.com that Access, which has occupied the site for about nine years, is taking an extra 2,586 sf. The total for the five-year deal is 11,684 sf, strategically located in a 96,000-sf, three-building tech complex near Parkland Hospital and University of Texas' Southwestern Medical School.
Lancaster has represented Pollock Realty Corp., owner of 2600 Stemmons, in the negotiations with the drug research operation. The complex is a 1962 project of the Trammell Crow Co. and the late John Stemmons, who had been instrumental in making Dallas what it is today.
